Victoria's first snow experience

Well we got another arctic cold front that blow in.

Everything closed down the first week of February. Schools

were open on Monday, but closed the rest of the week.

The temperatures got down to the single digits. This was the

week of Stephen's birthday party. We got several calls

asking us is we were still going to have it. My mother-

in- law traveled from California, so rain or snow it

was going to be that weekend. My mother-in-law

got to see the snow when she flew in on Friday,

but everything started to clear up and melt

by Saturday afternoon, It was perfect.

It was so cold the pond at the entrance of our community froze.

I bundled up our precious snow bunny and let

her experience snow for the first time.

"What is this?"

Taking a closer look.

Making her first snow angel. Stephen saw this

picture when I was making this post and he

laid on his back and started flapping his

arms and legs. Kids are just too bright.

The end result

It sure looked nice once the clouds started clearing up...

and the sun starting shinning through.
