CA Vacation .5 (Yosemite)

From Bass Lake we went up to Yosemite for the day.

As soon as we got there Stephen spotted the waterfall.

"Agua, Agua" (water, water) he said.

The beginning of their hike.

Here is Angel at the top with Stephen.

Some people thought Angel was crazy for hiking up with Stephen.

There was a lady who kept calling out "Sir, Sir"..."Sir,Sir," then

her husband starts calling out. So Angel turns around to see

who they are calling, come to find out they were calling him.

"Sir, it's slippery!" "You need both hands!" Angel holds

both hands up and says I got them and continues

hiking up carrying Stephen. Since everyone had

trouble hiking up along they thought Angel

could not do it with Stephen, but little

do they know that Angel grew up doing this.

Here is Angel at the top holding Stephen up. Miriam said he was

like Simba from the Lion King. Some people next to me at the bottom

said look at that man holding that baby up, I am sure thinking he was crazy.

As Angel started down the rock there was a man who said,

"Sir can I help you?" Angel did not need any help but

agreed to not make the man feel bad. Stephen loved

the pool of water at the bottom of the waterfall, he

wanted to get in. Angel dangled his feet into the

water, a man swimming said Stephen was a warrior.

We had lots of fun!!!!

This big rock is Half Dome. Angel, Javier, me and

some other friends hiked up the mountain and

climbed up Half Dome a few years back. It took

us about 12-14 hours to go up and come back

down. I need to look for those pictures.

Look at that pine tree leaning over the river.

When the kids get older I want to spend more time exploring Yosemite.
