CA Vacation .6

After we got back from Yosemite Angel

and Stephen went for a swim.

Stephen had a blast!

He swam on his back.

He swam on Daddy's back.

He jumped off the edge.

... and swam on his belly.

That evening Angel's parents, his little sister Daisy,

Melissa and Adam joined us. After having dinner

Angel brought down the Murphy bed in the living

room and the boys had fun jumping on it.

There was a space between the wall and the head of the bed.

You see Adam laying over this area to pull a pillow out.

We were on the sofa and the kids were jumping, laughing

and having a good time and before we knew it Adam disappears.

He falls in the space between the bed and wall and does not come

up for a few seconds. I tell Angel to run and get him. A few

seconds later Adam pops his head out. He was fine, but

poor Adam was in shock, he didn't know what hit him.

He got off the bed and went to sit next to grandpa until the shock

wore off. No more monkeys jumping on the bed ;)

And Adam, he looks so handsome.

Grandpa and Grandma took the boys for a walk through the

woods the following morning. When they got back they

went to play on the playground.

These boys love their grandparents.

We were also able to spend some time on the patio before we left.

Victoria slept most of the morning.

After leaving the resort we headed to the other

side of the lake and ate watermelon.

We then took a hike up one of the creeks to a small waterfall.

It was very peaceful.

So, we were not prepared for the whole experience.

I did not take a blanket to lay Victoria on so I put her on

Adams clothes and my diaper/wipe bag.

Angel took Stephen in the creek and Grandma took Adam.

Since the water that flows in this creek comes

from the melted snow, it was cold.

Apparently if we would have hiked higher we could have seen

a bigger waterfall, but we didn't. Here is Angel walking

Okay, so she was being posed...

but she still had some fun.

We had a good time, but it was time to head back down the mountain.
