The national Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) in
Washington, D.C. honors federal, state and local law enforcers for
their dedication and sacrifice. the memorial features bronze sculptures
depicting a series of adult lions protecting its cubs, symbolizing the
protective role of law enforcement officers. Blue-gray marble
wals are inscribed with the names of almost 19,000 officers
who have been killed in the line of duty.
The quotation from Proverbs 28:1 beneath the sculpture reads
"The Wicked Flee When No Man Pursueth But the
Righteous Are Bold As A Lion
Located at the Judiciary Square, the memorial honors all law
enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.

Most of Angel's family was fortunate to be able to
attend the activities they had for National police week in
Washington D.C. They had a lay-over at DFW on their
way back, so we were able to meet up with
them and visit for a while.
