Samuel's 5th Birthday

We headed to College Station on Saturday to celebrate Samuel's

5th Birthday. He is into dinosaurs so they had his birthday at

the Science Museum in Bryan where his guests were able to

learn interesting facts about dinosaurs.

Maribel's sister-in-law makes great cakes and she made small

dinosaur shaped cakes for the kids and two big cakes for the adults.

Angel laughed when he saw this picture. He says I'm smiling

unaware that the bear is going to take a bite of Stephen's head.

The kids went outside to do some activities and Stephen

decided that he wanted to join the big kids the bench.

"So how are you guys enjoying the party?"

It does not appear that Stephen is going to be shy or lack friends.

This is technically the first time Stephen colors. I guess it just

never occurred to me that he was old enough to color.

He has a pretty good hand grasp on the crayon, for it being his first

time. Of course I would notice that since that is one things we check

when evaluating kids at work.

Here is the final product. I did some of the pink and

orange to try to show him how to color, but

apparently he did not need my guidance.
