Trip to California

It has been over a month since our last post. Things have

been very busy back at work in a new school. Very excited

to work in our 1st early child hood center (a school that houses

0-5 year-old students). Everything is nice and new, but we had a lot

of unpacking, decorating, adjusting and preparing to do. I will

post pictures of my room later. We went for a quick (very quick)

trip to California. We wanted Angel's family to meet Stephen so

we backed our bags and headed west. We usually like to go for a

least a week to see family, meet with friends and enjoy the bay area

and wine country, but we were not able to do that due to me having

to go back to work. So, we had a Bejar family packed weekend. Angel

told very few family and friends that we were going, and that if they

wanted to see us they would have to come to us because we did not

have time to go to them. It was fast but trip but we had a fun packed

weekend.

We had a delay due to bad weather in the morning... Stephen was

a trooper. Here he is at the airport as we wait to board.

We took Stephen for his six month check-up and his pediatrician

was surprised how strong his is and how well he sits up on his own.

He said that his next big mile-stone would be that he would pull up...

Well, I think Stephen was listening because three days later he pulled

up. When we got back from our trip we realized that he could now get

out of his bassinet so this was one of Stephen's last nights sleeping in

our bedroom. He is now in his room upstairs but we keep a closed eye

on him with a motion sensor video monitor that alerts us by beeping

and turning on when he cries or moves.
